How do big name product developer's create a new information product each week?
What's their secret? Here's one...

----------------

Can't type but still want to create an ebook?

You don't really need to know how to type to create your own ebook.

I had heard of this resource a couple of years ago and although I never used them myself
(I type 70 WPM) I was reminded of their existence when reading John Lim's excellent
new book, The New Search Engine Secrets Exposed about getting a high ranking on
Google.

As I was reading I clicked an area in the book that you don't normally click on and
discovered that at least one section (maybe the entire book) was created using a dictation
service called iDictate.

http://www.iDictate.com is a service for medical professionals and does an excellent job
of taking your voice dictation and transcribing it into a text file that you can create you
ebook with.

You don't have to be a medical professional to use their services.

There are 4 ways to submit your work to them to be transcribed:

1. Dictating over the phone, by dialing 1-877-DICTATE; The only equipment you will
need is a touch tone telephone.

2. Submitting a digital file (.Wav or DSS) through our website; To submit a digital file,
you will need a voice recorder that creates .Wav or DSS files. There are several different
digital recorders that will work. Sony digital recorders come with software to convert the
Sony formatted voice file to 16 Bit .Wav. Olympus recorders utilize a DSS format that
can be submitted without reformatting.

3. Submitting an analog voice recording (mini or regular cassettes) over the phone; In
order to submit an analog recording over the phone, you will need a Connector Cable
from Radio Shack: Data Cable 43-1237. www.radioshack.com or 1-800-THE-SHACK.

4. Submitting hand-written notes by faxing them to 1-877-DICTATE.

The cost is extremely reasonable... just .01 cent per word.
A 160 page ebook contains approx 22,000 words so it would cost you $220 which is a
cheap price to pay to be able to get to market with your ebook days, weeks, maybe even
months ahead of the competition.

My recommendation is you prepare an outline of your book in the form of a bullet list
before calling to dictate your book.

Turnaround time is... 24 minutes to 24 hours according to their site.

After your dictation is transcribed they send it to you in a plain text file, so be prepared to
complete the ebook with your own formatting, graphics, etc...

iDictate is the pro's source for creating ebooks, special reports and tele-conference
transcriptions fast.
